Carpentry Contest:
Each year, the New England Regional Council
of Carpenters holds a contest for fourth year apprentices who are
about to complete their training. The contest involves a comprehensive
written exam and a hands-on project designed to test the skills
of the participants. Categories include Carpentry, Interior Systems,
Floor Covering, Millwright, Mill-Cabinet and Piledriving. The contest
is an opportunity to showcase the skills of the participants and
the value of the training programs.
